Was good and didn’t buy anything for RSD but did treat myself to a used copy of this pop masterpiece today

4th time I’ve watched it and it’s astonishing.

With the 40th anniversary this weekend, I think a rewatch of one of the best things (tv or film) I’ve ever seen is in order

The Mumm…oh sorry Lee Cronin’s The Mummy had potential but there’s so many beats from The Exorcist and The Omen that it just feels flat and familiar.
And even when it does get nasty, it’s not enough.
Still, Jack Reynor looked nice.

Never been a huge fan of Akira but seeing in IMAX was easily the most I’ve enjoyed it.
Looked stunning in the big format, see it if you can.
Climax is still overblown though.

It’s still far too long but A.I. Is still prob Spielberg’s most interesting film.
Also has one of my fave characters in any of his films- Teddy

After having to abort watching this the other week because my player conked out, trying again tonight….
