After the Lost World last night, back for more big screen 90s tonight

Was good and didn’t buy anything for RSD but did treat myself to a used copy of this pop masterpiece today
Loved seeing The Lost World at the pics tonight.
Obv it’s not JP but it’s still so much fun.
With some sll time great Spielberg moments
😂😂
4th time I’ve watched it and it’s astonishing.
With the 40th anniversary this weekend, I think a rewatch of one of the best things (tv or film) I’ve ever seen is in order
😍😍
Departures was rough around the edges but also funny, sad and honest.
And as for the eye candy 🥵
Sunday ritual for the first time in 3 weeks
Tremendously depressing read. Also: proper reporting.

My fave from that year is (like so many people) is Jurassic Park but I wanna give this some love instead
I could def do that.
Or could just direct you both. But with a big supporting role 😈
I bet you do! Does the plot require a 3rd person? 😜
Ideally we need him to get a role that he can real get his teeth into. But one that requires Midsommar-levels of nudity.
If only! Doesn’t even get his shirt off. The shirt remains firmly buttoned up the entire time 😒
The Mumm…oh sorry Lee Cronin’s The Mummy had potential but there’s so many beats from The Exorcist and The Omen that it just feels flat and familiar.
And even when it does get nasty, it’s not enough.
Still, Jack Reynor looked nice.
Never been a huge fan of Akira but seeing in IMAX was easily the most I’ve enjoyed it.
Looked stunning in the big format, see it if you can.
Climax is still overblown though.
This bit though, at any age…
Going to swerve the trailer for this. Less I know yhe better.
So friggin excited for it.
100%
40 years old and somehow feels like it improves with every watch
Saw this billboard on the way to an anti-TERF protest at the weekend. Well done Edinburgh! 👏 🏳️⚧️❤️
🌈
Because it’s a bit more of a pain to get to, I never really look at Cineworld. D’oh! They’ve got all the sci-fi ones that I’ve rewatched/will do 🤦🏻♂️
It’s still far too long but A.I. Is still prob Spielberg’s most interesting film.
Also has one of my fave characters in any of his films- Teddy
After having to abort watching this the other week because my player conked out, trying again tonight….
Odeon have got a batch of Spielbergs on ij the next few weeks. Wish someone would put this on.
