Understandable. It's only the second month of April and we have three more to get through.

This really is great. When I was working on my dissertation, I had to read a bunch of more obscure briefs at the Library of Congress.
It's fine for people to differ on air travel and whether they find the prospect of striding briskly to the gate minutes before departure invigorating or horribly stressful and thus act accordingly. Your way is not wrong if it works for you. You're a jerk if you think your way is the only way.
The legal system is only a small part of the intended audience for this document.
"Patel has his fans." [describes one fickle but rather important fan]
Dredd Scott and Plessy and Buck, oh my!
This is an amazing resource!
Have been almost literally holding my breath waiting for your take on this!
I wish Japan did not incentivize competing at all cost to be eligible for selection.
This is about as terrifying as it gets when it comes to flying umbrellas. This is exactly how people end up impaled. While this incident happened in a stadium, it is much more common to see this happen on a beach. Buy a beach umbrella that meets new anchor safety standards this summer.
It was soooo fun when chickenpox took out my entire second-grade class!
I want to unknow this.
We should absolutely bring back informal banking in a big way said no one ever.
Ohhhh boy this is gonna be brutal.
Oh, I absolutely agree!
I caught most of this on NPR yesterday and, I emphasize, as a non-expert!, thought it was an interesting take on what's going on right now and how it is connected to rising antisemitism. www.wnycstudios.org/podcasts/tny...
They read Nietzsche once, in excerpt, in an undergraduate class and forgot the prime directive that should be issued in every such class: "Nietzsche is not talking to YOU."
Just reminding people of this, a line he's been repeating since he was confirmed. Some of us remember the Anita Hill hearings, which he described as a "high-tech lynching."
Reading through and tightening up a VERY long manuscript and honestly I think I could cut around 10,000 words by eliminating every "both . . . and" construction. WTF, past me???
I hope people are paying attention to him. I know there are a lot of good pommel guys right now, but I do wonder where he'll be in a year or two.
That was nuts!
Huge contrast with the other side. Brody is really terrific. If he wants to do this after he retires, he should be on the A team.
That was soooooo sad!
I had the same thought!
Zsofi's work is so important for the current moment. If you think that credit ratings are economic and not political, please spend some time reading her devastating arguments to the contrary.
This section of the @washingtonpost.com really captures why women are enraged right now and how the system keeps allowing women to die and be assaulted. I’m HOT today so here’s a thread explaining why.
In the short run, a wave Dem Congress might be able to do Court reform (if the Court doesn't successfully insulate itself), but I hope that if a wave election occurs, they turn the lens on themselves as well and ask hard questions about how our national legislature can return to governance.
Gorsuch and the anti-admin state crew on the Court are saying Congress should lead BECAUSE they know Congress will struggle to do so.
We have lots of Congress folks in poli sci who can help diagnose why Congress is so broken! Hyperpartisanship and the rapid increase of members with little to no investment in institutional politics or the institution have not helped the cause.
