“Leo!” Icy cried.
Jumping out of the car, Icy got down on her knees as she cradled his head in her lap. Leo’s blood was soaking through her coat as his brain matter oozed into the palm of Icy’s hand.

She loved every aspect of the vehicle and all she could think about was cruising the streets of Chicago in her new whip. Sitting in the driver seat, Leo leaned down and kissed Icy tenderly and stood tall with his chest out then hit the pavement with a thud.

“Thank you, baby!” Icy screamed, more so about the car than Leo presenting it to her.
Leo pulled her towards the car and handed over the keys. Icy opened the door and that baby was fully loaded!

Midnight, because the car was midnight black from the exterior to the interior. He’d given her a brand-new home as an engagement present and Icy loved that house even though there wasn’t any genuine love within the walls.

Leo lowered his hands and Icy screamed as she jumped up and down. Leo had bought her the Porsche Cayenne coupe that she had her eye on for the longest time. Icy even had a name picked out for it.

“Baby, you know I love you and will give you anything your heart desires. Today is the day I present you with this.” Leo’s voice was a tad bit higher than usual, but the excitement she felt had her canceling it out.

Leo placed his hands over her eyes, preventing Icy from seeing anything until he was ready for her to do so. Icy could hear the whispers and she wanted to see too. The sound of something being lowered had her excited.

Leo looked around at the crowd of people and nodded his head. A big truck made its way down the street and Icy was curious as it got closer to where they stood. The driver got out and went to the back of the truck with his partner.

“There’s nothing out here, bae,” Icy said, pulling the coat tighter around her neck.”
“Be patient,” he said, shifting his feet.

Icy looked around, trying to see what Leo could possibly have waiting for her outside in the dead of winter. Instead of following the crowd, Icy waited for Leo to return. When he emerged from the hall about five minutes later, he waltzed over to Icy and led the way out of the venue.

“I have to drain the weasel, baby. Give me a minute and I’ll meet you outside.”

The entire room of people were up on their feet, scrambling to get their coats. Zan brought Icy’s floor-length white mink along with the matching hat. Leo slipped his arm in his matching waist-length mink and grabbed her hand.

Leo’s words went into one ear and out the other. Icy wasn’t trying to hear the lies he told. “I want y’all to meet me outside. We got thirty minutes before we ring in the New Year, and I want to give my baby her first of many gifts as a Miller.”

“Back to what I was saying. I love you with every breath I take. You fucked up when you agreed to be Mrs. Miller, because ain’t no breaking up. Thank you for giving me another chance to prove my love to you.”

Leo walked over and lined her lips with his tongue. Icy pulled back and hugged him instead.

You are the Queen of my castle, and that muthafucka would be cold as hell without you warming it up with your presence. Thank you for loving me the way you do. You were just what the doctor ordered, and I’m holding on for dear life and never letting you go.”

“Icy Shanté Miller, for years you have held me down in any and every way imaginable. There are many ways for me to profess my love for you, and I have every intention of showing you for the rest of my life.

Once again, Icy’s eyes landed on Desiree and the expression she wore was unpleasant. In fact, the anger stood out to anyone paying attention.

The applause and whistling were deafening, but Icy smiled for the love she was being shown as her name echoed off the walls. Leo was up to something and whatever it was, he owed her for all the shit he had done behind her back.

“Can I have y’all attention for a minute?” Leo asked into the mic. The room quieted down and all eyes were on him. “Today was the best day of my life. I married the woman I love, and we will actually get the opportunity to start our forever as husband and wife.”

Icy was standing talking to Julz when out of her peripheral she saw Leo heading to the DJ table and a mic was handed to him.

Leo and Icy danced, ate, and danced some more. Time flew when you were having fun, and that’s exactly what happened with everyone in the building. The incident with Blaze was a thing of the past and well-forgotten as the party continued.

Leo shut down all questions Julz wanted to ask and she wanted to press the issue, but decided to just let it go. She also didn’t like the fact of Leo calling her sis because once she found out he wasn’t loving Icy properly, she would never call him bro again.

“What the fuck was that about?” Julz asked as Leo and Icy walked onto the dance floor.
“Disrespect, sis. Disrespect. The shit is over, and I’m quite sure Icy will fill you in on it. Not tonight though, because we’re about to turn up.”

He didn’t pay it any mind because he knew she was upset about what had taken place and she had every right to be. What Leo didn’t know was the fact that Icy knew he was harboring yet another secret with Desiree.

“Fix your face, Icy. Don’t worry; I’m going to handle that. This will be a day to remember, and nothing is going to spoil that shit for you.” Leo went to kiss Icy on the lips, but she turned her head, giving him her jaw.

She knew the time to beat the fuck out of Desiree would present itself very soon, and Icy was going to love every minute of it.

Desiree was walking toward Leo and he shook his head no to her, diverting her steps. Icy noticed what happened, but didn’t speak on it. Being a lady in the streets was what Icy did every day.
