Also I don’t really want to conflate diversity of people with business, but diversity literally helps businesses grow. Making new products, finding new revenue sources, finding new audiences. Diversification is necessary.

I think it’s more about storytelling: the right-wing are using a pretty simple hero myth, turning that man into a symbol, and speaking in plain terms, and I think that’s why populism wins.

I also think we need to keep the question of ‘why’ people become billionaires on the table, and reset the idea that they ‘do it on their own’. Billionaires can only exist by exploiting hundreds of thousands of people in the process. The people are entitled to their fair share as part of the process

The real winners of this election cycle are the shareholders for Meta, Google, and other advertising networks who made a killing this year while campaigns fought for attention spans. over $10 BILLION was spent on election ads this cycle.
