Victor’s comments… “we don’t have the vocabulary for this” “our science and human connection was better because we worked [and shared the experience] together” #MoonJoy

The bad news? There is no more Artemis II live mission coverage for you to watch. The good news? New Artemis II imagery continues to roll in. We're continuing to unveil new images from the Artemis II mission. You can find them here:

Reminds me of the days of old with NASATV with Rob, Amiko, Brandi… on the PAO console in FCR1.
My forty 4th Graders have been watching every moment and are so inspy. One of them commented on our class chat, “Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy are really good teammates and just inspired me to do my best and to help others with all your skills and talents.”
It was a test flight. Finding problems was their job.
Ratty ground comms. Anyone else remember the Soyuz landing (Ron Garan ISS) that had to use Morse code to communicate with recovery teams.
Thanks for sharing it!
#ArtemisII CDR “stable 1, 4 green crew”
Ok, now we can all breathe again.
#ArtemisII entry interface coming up followed by 6 min LOS.
CDR Wiseman: “Great view of the Moon. A little smaller than yesterday.”
CAPCOM: “Guess we’re gonna have to go back.” #ArtemisII
Separation!
The ESM and crew capsule separate.
The Artemis II Orion capsule "Integrity" has separated from the European Service Module.
The crew is now flying entirely ballistically.
Eighteen minutes to atmospheric entry interface.
#ArtemisII CM/SM separation!
Sense of humor @esa.int #ArtemisII “Next Stop Earth”
Please remain seated until Stable 1 is achieved and divers arrive.
And just like that #ArtemisII coverage goes from Bob Ross-esque serenity to edge of the seat, heart pounding, hold your breath intensity.
Houston, you’re getting pretty big in the window.

Just a bit “sporty” as you and Ike called it! Fingers crossed for nominal EDL.

93 min to #ArtemisII splashdown!
Kinda disappointed this morning’s #ArtemisII wake up song wasn’t Peter Gabriel’s “Down to Earth”

As a magnet @laurenalloyce.bsky.social put on our fridge says, “I can explain it to you, but I can’t understand it for you.”
Keep up the good fight Katie with your clear expectations.
Senator please do all in your power to restore NASAs already paltry budget to allow them to continue to discover and inspire.

PAO legend Rob Navias interviews Vanessa Wyche JSC Director during #ArtemisII livestream today. The new crew of PAOs do an outstanding job, but there’s just something about hearing Rob’s voice that says to me human spaceflight.
Very on brand this slight-of-hand. How is the premier federal science agency supposed to do, um, science?
A view from inside the well deck with the Orion capsule recovered, and the aft portion of the hull raised, crew would be in the medical bay for post flight eval.
