✈️ Aircraft contrails can significantly affect Earth’s radiative balance. At RMI, we use satellite observations to detect contrails and estimate their radiative forcing within the EU E-CONTRAIL project.

ℹ️ These Northern Lights were caused by a solar storm with an intensity of G4 on a scale of 5.
