★★★☆☆ Jitterbug by Gareth L. Powell 📚
I wasn’t super impressed with this one. The story fell flat and towards the end the characters had all of these long monologues about their feelings that felt disconnected from the plot.

So vile.
I love it. I want to drive through the Midwest of America to see sights like this.
Huge fan of this show. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed it.
You’re practically best friends now.
Very impressive in both scope and style.
★★★★☆ The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin 📚
Amazing book! It was a bit longer than expected but I’m excited to jump into the next one.

The way I cut is that I just make my screen time more intentional. I set aside screen-free times in the morning and before bed so that the first and last things I have in my brain are positive.
Today is my birthday and if you wanted to get me a gift, feel free to share my work 😊 🦊 🐟
★★★★☆ Wake Up Dead Man (2025)
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I’m processing it and may have more to say later, but we were pleasantly surprised by the portrayal of the young priest.
Praying for you brother. Today marks the 2-year anniversary of my father’s passing as well.
Wait, are you one of those monsters who takes the burger onto the plane?

Right now I’d say Prism, in Foster’s Sentenced to Prism, and this is only because I think silicon-based life forms are interesting to explore as a concept. Would never ever want to visit that hellscape except in a suit and then just to meet Azure.
My dad worked in a sugar cane refinery when he came here to the US. I had the feels too when I saw this.
As a Puerto Rican, I was smiling throughout the half time show. My mom, who passed away in 2024 would have loved it, right down to the wedding cake made in the style she used to bake. The music was ok, but the dancing, laughter, celebration of life and diversity of America--thats where it shined!
We use it every day! I hope they don’t get rid of it.
★★★★☆ The Gorge (2025)
I enjoyed it. The premise is somewhat interesting if improbable. I like Anya Taylor-Joy and this was a good role for her. The ending was fine, although the final lines didn’t connect in any meaningful way. Call it a love story with a horror-ish vibe.
“Fact” is a four letter word in this administration now.
I attend an interdenominational men’s small group. 1/3 of the participants all left the church because of the scandal. These defenses and deniers don’t know the damage they’re inflicting on their own church.
This review or windshield wipers. 😆 "I went with the most expensive option because my wife is difficult to please and if she was unhappy with my choice, then I could tell her that these were the best available and that the problem was not with the wiper blade, but was with her."
I’ll check it out!
#booksky I need reccs for fantastic books, fiction or non, around pirates!
★★★☆☆Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J. K. Rowling 📚
Athough it’s not my favorite of the Harry Potter series, after listening to it again I appreciated the way it subtly introduces much of the concepts regarding Harry and... plumey.com/2026/02/03/harry-potter-...
★★★★☆ Peter and the Starcatchers by Dave Barry 📚
This was a surprisingly delightful read. I’m not sure what I expected, but enjoyed the premise for Peter Pan’s backstory so much that I’m probably going to read the sequels.
Bro, maybe it includes dental!
Congratulations! Great read.
Echoing these comments. I’ve switched my personal and professional search engines to Kagi. Love it!
You’re describing me perfectly right now. Feel better!
