More layoffs today: PlayStation is closing Dark Outlaw Games, a studio formed last year by former Call of Duty lead Jason Blundell (his previous PlayStation studio, Deviation, was shut down in 2024).

PlayStation is also making other cuts including in mobile development. Around 50 people laid off.

Pokopia elevated it a lot but the RE9 port is crazy as a hardware showcase - plenty more coming over the next 3 months. All while being backwards compatible and having all those Updates

there's so little noise around this incredibly anti consumer pricing tactic but i assure you that if it was another certain company doing it every single content creator would make a thousand videos about it and you would never hear the end of it
