Sprained my ankle… again 🙄 Thought I’d broken it this time. So, I’ve got the foot elevated and settling in for a night of Interstellar. Love the movie, adore the soundtrack, and it’s about space. Perfect! Should help ease the pain. 🚀👨🚀🪐

As a kid I watched all the Apollo missions wide eyed and in total awe. They left a lasting impression on me. Like many people I love all things space: science and fiction alike. And now, Artemis II has left the rock! God speed. 🚀
I chose a family day together making homemade pasta and a glass of red. A full house, a full stomach and a full heart. Wealth beyond measure! ❤️
There are things I’d love, like a Steinway D, or a Gretsch White Falcon, but really I want for nothing. I have a piano & guitars. I have good health, and most importantly I have a beautiful family, so when asked what I wanted for my birthday this year?

In non leap years World Piano day falls on my birthday, as it does this year. And so I celebrated both today by practising, as I do every morning. This birthday my age equals my birth year too, which is kind of cool. Grateful to be here. Happy birthday/world piano day to me! 🥂
Melbourne friends, join me at the Evelyn to catch my friends band - The Romans. A fabulous jazz outfit. Always a great gig! 🎶

I have no idea where all that noise comes from at the start… it’s not in the video 🤷♂️
I need to compose. I always have. It’s where I live. Still studying, but making time write. 2/2
This is called “Return to Self”
A friend of mine said to me a few years ago when I told him I was focusing on classical studies that I would eventually return to where I was meant to be. I think he saw something I didn’t at the time.

Just saw Hamnet.
Oh. My. Heart! 💔❤️
Our 1 year old grandson just left. We are in no hurry to remove the evidence. Despite the risk to life and limb, we find it comforting. Anyone else like this after the kiddies leave?
Just repurposed an old iMac (2009) by installing Linux Mint. Works like a charm! If your computer needs are largely cloud based, e.g. browsing, email, streaming, this is a nice way to move away from the tech bros by repurposing older, but still perfectly good hardware.
Class acts one and all!

I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating, I have very talented friends. One to add to your reading list 🙏
Awesome Bryan! I look forward to reading it 😊
Hey Bryan, great to have you on here! 👊
Yep, got a tad warm.
Merry Christmas to you and yours. 🎄
My life is something of a wild storm right now, and yet, I’m relatively calm. I have survived storms more violent than this before. Sometimes you just have to strap yourself to the mast, back yourself to get through, and howl back at the wind. “Not today mother-fracker, not today!”
People fascinate me. Sometimes they inspire me, sometimes they confound me, and sometimes they just royally piss me off. But the drama queens and narcissists no longer bother me so much, because I know how that movie ends… 🍿

"You think a friend is an easy thing to be? If you are truly his friend, you will discover otherwise."
Chaim Potok - The Chosen
I read this when I was 16 (now 62). I have never forgotten this quote, nor the book. It continues to inform me all these years later. Easy? No. Worthwhile? yes!
How wonderful! Congratulations to all 🥂❤️
As a father of two incredible daughters, I feel those words! 🙏 Happy Birthday 🥂
