i got a refurbed x390 for cheap and it's refreshing to use a laptop that doesn't die after an hour running on battery (looking at you, legion (gaming laptops were a mistake))

i had it on my wishlist forever but never got it. might be time to change that finally.
i bought it first when it came out on ps4, then on switch and now on steam. i never finished or even gotten that far but i love the game.
it’s good because it doesn’t care about you

tempted to buy rain world for the third time

dude’s an absolute laughing stock
do isometric games adjust character move speed based on the projection angle or is the speed the same? because horizontal movement in screen space should be faster than vertical but it feels wrong.
installing it is not an issue. i just need a generally approachable way of dealing with problems i run into so i will give it a go.
will give cachy a try then. i got an older small laptop for doing some coding on the go so it will be a good testing ground.
yeah windows is the other way around, you remove what you don't need
i like the idea of video games better than video games themselves
ugh. anyway, i'm looking at distros because i'm going to do the unthinkable and give linux one more try (not because i want to but because i feel like it's time to stop relying on windows) and need something "simple" in terms of setup. would cachy be better than pure arch?
which linux distro community is the most toxic? arch?
no of course, it’s unfortunate. not only you have to be creative when making the damn game, but also when figuring out how to sell it.
good old word of mouth
honestly i also seen a lot of devs where the thing they teased was the only interesting aspect of their game and the rest felt just meh (since they already teased with what’s interesting)
this bothers me so much whenever i see gamedevs sharing something cool about their project on socials and it just leaves me wondering "why would you just give it away like that?"
can't last two hours without munching on junk?
more games should be able to make players feel misery and dispair
do you mind sharing the wishlist count prior to release?
gonna start a thread here with my findings (& tips for what i already have in my library):
so i just finished jeff vandermeer's annihilation and liked it. already ordered authority but while i wait will give the crystal world a try because i just randomly found out i have it at home lol
