At Galunggung in Indonesia 🇮🇩 🌋 the @rottnrock.bsky.social team were investigating the impressive recent collapse within the crater - we found plenty of altered rocks in the blocky deposit!
The @rottnrock.bsky.social team were at Galunggung today, a volcano famous after a British Airways flight accidentally flew through the huge eruption plume of the 1982 eruption! We’ll go back tomorrow to investigate, collect rocks, and drone the volcano 🌋
