Saying it here for those in the back:

In a world in which we feel increasingly powerless, people will go to great lengths to control all kinds of things, just so we can feel a little less helpless.

Yeah, this all checks out except that the doses transfolk need are a much smaller fraction of what's used for anabolics abuse. And most people abusing anabolics either go to rogue clinics, use underground labs, or DIY. Plus transfolk who need T sure af aren't selling it. We need our T to survive!

The HHS rule banning trans care from many ACA plans is open for public comment now. Only 3 comments so far.

Embarrassing how the media is completely ignoring this. There's likely over 200,000 trans people on ACA plans (1% of 24 million)

Oh, fuck. Yep. Bouncing up and down in my seat. So relatable. Well, really the whole damn thing.

I'll, uh, be in my bunk.

Meta apologizes after Instagram users are flooded with violent videos The troubling content featured graphic depictions of individuals being shot, run over by vehicles and suffering gruesome injuries.

It's a good thing they make sure nobody sees any femme-coded nipples.

The goal is slavery . It’s pure unmitigated slavery

Musk has said it . Anyone arguing otherwise is soft pedaling because they don’t want to deal with how comfortable they were with the warning signs as long as they got to be better

Sorry, but putting a Dem bumper sticker on your new Tesla does not absolve you from giving money to a Nazi.

Don't say you didn't know. Intentionally covering the Tesla symbol means you're plugged in.

And don't say, "bbbbut it's the best on the market!" If you're paying a Nazi, it's not the best.

Sure, and maybe that's just habit for them. I'm loud and open politically, though, and they follow me and respond to some non-political posts, so I know they know where I stand.

Yes. They don't stop until we stop them. That's how the plan works.

Appeasement encourages the aggressor.

It feels like a life-saving action sometimes. It's baked into our nervous systems as a response to existential threat.

But for those who can break free of it, we have other options. We have choice. Until we are actually dead, we have choice.

I mean, they're struggling with this too, yes. But they don't think they're the center of the world, and they've seen it play out multiple times just in the past 200 years. They have breadth of perspective. Most of us don't.

And I know some of my sex-positive peers are going to cringe, hearing that term. I hope they can hear the nuance too. To be clear: porn consumption =/= addiction. But one reason people can be so easy to convince that it is, is because sexuality is a necessary and powerful part of many of our lives.

As we're understandably panicking and more US-centric than usual, I noticed an interesting trend: certain clients don't bring up US politics.

Canadians do. They're very concerned - for us and their proximity.

Europeans? They don't mention it.

This is their history. They know what we have to do.

Thank you for sharing your lived experience with this. πŸ–€

Breaking free of shame is hard, no matter what drives it. And it can be confusing to know what we need, too, especially when we're cult/urally indoctrinated - or when dealing with a process or substance that *can* have addictive properties.

The real reason right wingers want to cancel porn: they never get past their binge and purge cycles.

There's no room for personal growth in dogma-driven communities that discourage self-reflection and critical thought.

This is important.

If you want to understand what's actually happening, and therefore what's likely to happen *next*, here's a useful framework:

True, but ones who are too important to be limited to a single spot in my Primary's buildings get immediately towed.

And when they return looking confused, they find their special car that paid for 1 spot does not secretly deserve 2. Extra fun if you get to explain who handi spots are really for.

This sounds like a great hypno file concept.

Ooooh, that mask on you. πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

Now I'm gonna have to get one of those. I love seeing someone's eyes, and I only have one mask that does that, and it still is full face.

There, now you've had a coaching session from both me and @TranceScript.

Absolutely.

The grift I see isn't limited to entry level, either. There are some nearly household names running game on other SWers. It used to be less common, but as SW gets harder and more visible, more seem to use their platforms to profit off other SWers without proportionate return. So icky.
