I need to redraw Sacha's fullbody to better reflect his recent design changes, add Kirin Reece's feral form to his main ref, then all I should have left to do is small adjustments to older refs where I think details need tweaked.
Really hoping to finish her ref tonight, then I'll finish up both Basil and Zephyr's later this week. I'm still considering putting Fergus on my AF roster this year but he's not going to be high priority if he's there. Other than that pretty much all I have left to do is touch-ups on old refs.
Also feel free to list any rules you have for your OCs, as well as any notes about their personalities that you think are important! I want to make sure I don't mischaracterize anyone's OCs if I end up drawing them!!

I'm so close to being done with Joan's reference sheet but I'm being so indecisive about her fur patterns. 😭 It's one of those things where you aren't going to be able to see most of her markings anyways because her outfit will cover most of it but I still want it to look interesting.

My favorite part is generally seeing the final art because I know it best reflects the artist's vision for their piece, but I love seeing sketches and WIPs as well! It's always really interesting to me seeing what other people focus on during their art processes!

It's weird because I really enjoy drawing other people's fandom characters, but when it comes to making one for myself the closest thing to one that I've actually gotten attached to is my BG3 Tav who I turned into both an actual OC and a normal DND character.
I really wish I didn't have issues getting attached to fandom OCs because I have so many cool ideas for Monster Hunter and HTTYD designs but know I wouldn't be able to get attached to them and would only ever draw them once. 😭
