My big Christmas gift this year was a Crokinole board. It’s a Canadian tabletop game that’s like a combination of shuffleboard, curling, and bocce.

We had so much fun playing. So much fun that my mother offered to keep the board on the table that it fit on so well. 😂

The team with their new adult ally quickly finished building the weapons systems and launched away into adventure, a pirate fighter hot on their tail.

"Hey, where's SM-33?" asked Neel.

Wim prepared to shush his friend for breaking the fourth wall *again*, but paused. "Good point, Neel."

The other kids shushed him loudly.
