Day started: Dentist and £150 filling

Day end: Awesome check in and meeting with colleague, followed by parents evening for the toddler.

It was a Wednesday, and we’re nearly over it now!

Day Three of no hearing in the left ear.
Went to GP, was told that aside from a little redness my ear looked incredibly healthy…
So yeah…great(!)
Some hearing slowly coming back intermittently…sounds like an early warning siren that only I can hear…

Woke up with no hearing again in my left ear. That wait starts to see if it last longer than a few hours(!)

In the mean time…offering a reflection (and turns out running the whole service after a lovely chat with the Worship Leader) at a small, local chapel for Palm Sunday.

Something quiet cathartic around chatting to the traders sent to fix the house, and they start saying that we shouldn’t have to deal with all these repairs as they should have been disclosed before we rented the property. ☺️

Things I learned from my third endoscopy:
- My hernia has changed size vs the size it was three weeks ago…which is weird
- I have something *else* wrong with me! Yay(!)
- Anaesthesiologist managing to keep me calm by just saying “It’s only plastic in your arm! Relax! You make me tense!”

Sat waiting for my third endoscopy.

Managed to speed through all the paperwork with the sentence “I had this done around 3 weeks ago so I’m aware of what’s going to happen”!

I’m still high anxiety (nearly 2hr later) and managed to keep calm with Q in the car and had sense to not drive straight home, so we’re safe as can be.

Had a friend who is a police officer who gave a load of advice so…anxious but not much else we can do now!

Well that’s one police report submitted…
Random driver got out of the car at traffic lights, started taking photos of our car, followed us all the while making incredibly rude gestures.

Thursday - Traders come in to fit new bath and windows (apparently) while I recover
Friday - More meetings, more traders.
