We've fixed a couple of things here and there. The warp time isn't changing though.

Calling all #crush40 fans all around the world. Following the recent release of my 2N2R merge, I've recently started working on a big project. Introducing "The Crush 40 Archive", an initiative aiming to preserve Crush 40's history, both live and in the studio. (1/5) 🧵
Tell me more. How would it work?

It's pretty efficient. The menus read strings of text from a supplied text file, and there's a different file for each language. Very small footprint.
Never say never, but the Cyrillic alphabet presents unique challenges.
Our projects aim to be accessible to everyone, including support for multiple languages.
Sonic Forever currently supports Brazilian Portuguese & Spanish, with proper accents in development to enhance the translation.
We want everyone to be able to play, and hope to expand accessibility further! ❤️
Today marks the 3rd year anniversary of an event that's quite special to me. The day @teamforever.bsky.social decided to stream ANATC3: Triple Trouble. It was special to me as I first discovered @huds601.co.uk, @argick.bsky.social and @nikoheart.com that day. (1/3)
The genesis sound effects will be a toggle that can be turned off, bringing back the CD sound effects.
With Sonic 2 Absolute, this was a change done in the original 2013 Mobile version; not by us.
Today is our fifth anniversary as a team! Time to celebrate in style:

The iconic "Semi" badnik from Sonic CD in Wacky Workbench. A face everyone remembers.
Shoutout to all the Semi from Sonic CD fans out there. #SemiAppreciationSquad #tsSoSemi
Our releases have always included large script overhauls. Mod compatibility in RSDK is impossible in that regard, unless mods base their code on mods that came before.
The CD Miracle Edition mod stack will still exist and you will still be able to play it.
I disagree. Sonic Adventure having the first Christmas visible in-game since SegaSonic doesn't mean it's the first in-universe Christmas. There could have been other Christmases where nothing on note happened. I think it's fair to assume that Sonic Adventure 2 is set in the year it was released.
Do you think Gerald Robotnik was one of those eastern European scientists that defected to the US during the cold war?
So, after thinking about this i should clarify. this is NOT a decomplation project. This project is to make/remake the things i made to get Megamix Mania on the Sonic Mania Decomp. the goal at the end is to have a version of V1.1 running on the Decomp that can be run on windows or other systems.
NopeMeet was kinda enough to let us port some code from Classic CD Tweaks. We haven't got everything, but we've taken a few fixes. The Quartz Quadrant foreground is restored.
That's going to be down to mod creators. We'll always do what we can to increase mod compatibility but everything is gonna rest on what the modding community decides to make.
I (Elsie) haven't played Miracle Edition but I hear it has a lot of customisation. We'll be focusing mainly on quality of life stuff and gameplay additions.
Our CD project will not be compatible with Miracle Edition, or any other existing Sonic CD mods.
Part of our work is a conversion from v3 to v4, but also mod compatibility has never been a goal of our projects. We're making our own thing like we always do.
No. Team Forever projects are always standalone. We've also converted everything from V3 to v4, so no existing CD mods will be compatible.
Afraid not, as we simply don't know. I can tell you the v4 port we've done is playable and we've squashed a lot of bugs. Right now we're working on various menus to get to things like options and game modes.
Knuckles is available in our CD project with Sonic Origins Plus on Steam, but you can also play as him if you build the engine yourself with the DLC lock disabled. As release approaches we will publish guides on how to do this.
With Knuckles on CD strictly being DLC content, that is all we can do.
