Long gone, not forgotten.
Lift Up Your Skirt And Fly was a banned lyric in "Desdemona" by the English cult band John's Children. With the song being released on 24th May 1967, and this image known to have been taken in December of that year, it is believed the shop was named in opposition to the BBC's decision to ban the song by boutique owner Roger Howe, who went on to become a business associate of Peter Stringfellow.
