I do not recommend the experience on the whole. Taking someone off of life support. I don’t think I will ever get over it. Watching him die so slowly like that while still being very much alive in the counterbalance the entire time. I’m very sorry if you understand this. Wondering if he was conscious somewhere down in there screaming to be set free. They told me that he was not. That he wasn’t there anymore. Ok man then is he out back? Where the fuck did you put him? Who is that right there that I am looking at?
This part, indeed.
It's remarkable that this is a real thing because it sounds so much like a narrative device used to increase the stakes of the most precarious moment of the entry.
Why do we have 8 minutes of tense silence? Y'know, hot plasma! It blocks the signals!
I can already tell i'm gonna be so annoying about this game hell yeah
i think it is good and fulfilling to sometimes do difficult, challenging, frustrating things with the goal of making something worthy, or bettering yourself. some people, it seems, believe that we should strive for a future where nothing is ever hard for anyone they consider people.
the tennessee titans were dissolved in 2006
That's the RULE. That's the GOAL now.

Excited to wake up in a cold sweat remembering what crucial game to my DNA I forgot to add here
I think the closer analogy in this case would be books, and I definitely can feel overwhelmed by the scope of books I want to read vs. my capacity to read them (but I'm also not the most voracious reader by any means 🤷♂️)
The intuitive answer I'm surprised I haven't seen in this thread is just that finishing a game on average takes much longer than finishing a movie or an album. TV can add up, but a long season of TV without commercials is still likely shorter than many games.
"According to the…annual Harris Poll, for the 1st time, a majority of Americans believe billionaires are a threat to democracy. A remarkable 71% believe there should be a wealth tax. A majority believe there should be a cap on how much wealth a person can accumulate." www.nytimes.com/2025/12/14/o...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH
They have played us for absolute fools
Now here's a kid who knows ball
I am still thinking about how Alex Pretti was out there directing traffic, waving cars through. A instinctive, quintessentially Dad Response to any kind of commotion happening on the block—to go out and help a little, in a small way. To make sure no one gets unnecessarily hurt.
To teams ever have dummy versions of these? E.g. "if we say 'Lisa', _don't_ shift left" - or is it understood the defense will know what these mean every time?
But doctor, I *am* the bus driver!
This is not in fact the definition of the “working class.”
