Fighting games will always be around because there will always be an audience for PvP Rhythm Games.
The real test for me with Resident Evil games is how well they hold up on replay on harder difficulties, speedruns and randomisers so we will see how i feel on playthroughs 4, 5 and 6 but the game really does have some of both the best action and puzzle design in the franchise
7.) Resident Evil: Requiem (2026)
RE survival horror and action horror at its best, up there with RE4 for most fun firs time RE playthrough for me. Falters slightly at the end by leaving one too many plot threads open and not addressing certain characters after being so fanservice-y

6.) Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (Switch 2 Port) (2020)
Has become a comfort game of sorts for me in the last few years (this was my 5th playthrough!) the switch 2 port is really solid and being able to play it portably is really cool. Will probably be my go to way to play from now on.

Just discovered the Melon Mix project for KH 358/2 Days and Re:coded that puts the collection cutscenes into the original game and makes them single screen friendly. It's really cool
