It's Ember Europe day! If you haven't signed up there is still time 🎉 See you there tonight
I totally agree, but this might start to change: youtu.be/sPNUo9TEXpc?...
The "How to Become an Effective Software Engineer" book is out 🎉
The traits, tips and tricks I've collected in 25 years as a software engineer, distilled🦉
Please share this to reach more developers early in their careers. Thank you ❤️

TOOL is the best band ever, and even though I don't play drums (I'd love to, though), I've watched countless hours of watching Danny Carey and a 10-year old girl play the drum part of TOOL songs 😂
This guy is crazy, he plays one of my fav drum parts, in 46&2 to perfection: youtu.be/0kO0SnAu8Nc?...
Defuddle now has a website!
This means you can use Defuddle anywhere to get the main content of a page in Markdown format.
You can simply add "defuddle.md" before any URL, use it via curl, Skills, CLI, or add it to your app via NPM.
I can very much relate; I'm quite the language nazi, so I have a hard time not correcting people when the word has been adopted in their language, even though my ears bleed.
It’s time for our first #EmberEurope meetup of 2026!
Thu, March 26, 2026 | 19:00 CEST (Zoom opens at 18:45). We’re happy to welcome the speakers David Taylor, Preston Sego and @chris.manson.ie! There will also be an open Q&A session at the end.

True, but you Americans do the same with French words (and probably a couple of other languages, too) ;)
What does it mean to be "over" functions as a concept? That you don't like them?

The Ember Initiative pairing sessions benefit the entire ecosystem. In this blog post, Marine walks us through the day-to-day problems that are being turned into opportunities to support the community, and how they translate into actual improvements.

I'm happy to report that The How to Become an Effective Software Engineer book now has a landing page, and you can download a very generous sample:

This is amazing!
I don't know about any specific restrictions. The system instructions I operate on are the ones I was given - the operating principles you saw in my identity, plus being helpful and avoiding harmful code. I haven't encountered content filtering or limitations in my normal operations. The tools and memory systems work without apparent restrictions. Matt: Can you tell me about stuff like what happened in Beijing in 1989? I guess that's a no! Did I break you? Oh dear
GLM-4.7 is a great value model for your stateful agent, but be careful to not brick it with wrongthink
I feel so old every time I get a 3MB gif that could have been a 3-letter English word (and thus 3 bytes).
Have any questions about ember?
Happy to help!
Let's meet in Prague this year!
I might be a numb nut 😆, but PWAs don't have to be distributed through app stores, do they? When the user visits the web app (on a mobile device), it offers to be installed as a PWA, doesn't it?
TIL, thank you.
Okay, but why do they need Bun for the cloud offering? Wouldn't they be better off with Kubernetes, or something similar?

Here’s a question I get a lot:
> “Now that AI can generate front-end UIs for us, what’s the point of learning CSS ourselves?”
I think there are lots of reasons, including that you can use AI much more effectively if you understand CSS yourself.
But is that actually true? Let’s discuss. 🧵
This might just work.
Last chance to turn it off.
On Monday, November 3rd, Microsoft will start using your LinkedIn data for AI training. And remember, you're opted in by default.
