i LOVE the audacity of making her design just a big fat koi with babydoll eyes. that said,

bit dissatisfying that the issue of stephen being unable to love her in fish form is sidestepped. conveniently making the humanoid form an indicator of comfort is fine, but it seems a bit sad...
chaO was interesting bc the first half makes no sense but the second half clarifies the entire plot is a brick joke that falls into place. some of it is still pretty weird and random, but in a fun way. i enjoyed it but instead of a second watch i'd just watch lu over the wall again (just personally)
saw ChaO today. something about mermaids makes anime feature directors decide to go "ok so for this one, we will make no sense"

BREAKING NEW: Beloved art director Nate Candles was arrested today for the horrendous crime of seeing the future without a license. Eye-witnesses say that two nights ago he had drawn fanart for an independent web comic, "Hello from Halo Head", that ended up being eerily similar to the beloved series's upcoming issue. He will be serving time throughout all of Spring whilst wearing a daisy crown on his head. Back to you, Bill.
For the crime of practicing fortune telling without a license, I am to wear this (embarrassing) daisy crown until the very end of spring. The ladybug will watch over me until my time has been properly served.
