Every time I hear anything about him, I love him more. He has principals and lives by them not only in words but in actions. He's such a unicorn in politics.

John Roberts' wife is not the only Supreme Court spouse to shake down people with business before the court to give bribes. Ginni Thomas has a "consulting firm" (AKA a PO Box for checks) to funnel money to Clarence. #Corruption

As Trump slowly deteriorates into a demented old orange bag of shit, he’s starting to look like one of the old granny Smith Apple heads that used to be sold in Tasmania

A screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by Magyar Péter (Ne féljetek), with the handle @magyarpeterMP. The post reads:
"Until 31 May, the Orbán puppets may voluntarily step down from their positions. This applies to the President of Hungary, the President of the Curia, the President of the National Office for the Judiciary, the President of the Constitutional Court, and the Prosecutor General.
On 12 April, the Hungarian people voted for a complete political transformation.
If these officials do not step down voluntarily by 31 May, then — on the basis of the mandate received from millions of Hungarians — we will remove them from office."
At the bottom, the timestamp reads "3:04 AM • Apr 21, 2026" alongside "19.9K Views".

Peter Magyar is not playing around at all. He's going to purge every single remnant of corrupt Orbanism. This is exactly how Dems need to be when they retake power.

Save these Turtles! Turn the Water Back On!! Right now in wetlands near Moree, turtles are being pulled from the mud as the water disappears around them. It’s an environmental catastrophe.

I've started an urgent email campaign to demand the Water and Environment Ministers act now and save these turtles by ordering water be sent to the wetlands - take action now: www.catefaehrmann.org/gwydir_turtles

And it isn't because of a lack of rainfall. It's because the NSW Government stopped sending environmental water flows to the wetland a month ago - during breeding season - because a big cotton irrigator downstream has threatened to sue them if water was released and went onto his land 🤯

You will not believe what I've just seen. Hundreds of turtles stuck in the mud of a wetland in NSW that should be full of water and teeming with life. And a small dedicated team of scientists doing their best to rescue them. This is happening right now!

Just yesterday Labor bet everything in defence on binding us to the US. Trump didn’t even notice, let alone care, and has come out and attacked Australia anyhow. This is not a relationship of friends or allies, we are being held hostage and need to escape.

The US blockade is a hostile act, not just towards Iran but towards the entire world, including Australia. Energy supplies, food supplies, jobs, all hostage to the whims of US military power … and Labor wants to keep us tied to them. Unbelievable really.

Mr Minns saying the quiet part out loud - he doesn’t believe in the Australian constitution when it conflicts with a foreign power; I think there’s a word for that

Minns has turned NSW into The Police State. No problem using thug tactics once attributed to the SturmAbteilung against dissent (read "protest")

Funny how the law and order guys never think it applies to them 🙄

He’s again blaming the courts, the protesters and those attacked by police all for his appalling and illegal attempts to ban dissent

PM Albanese, Hezbollah SHOULD NOT STOP until Israel ceases the ethnic cleansing & illegal occupation of Lebanon
Hezbollah is THE RESISTANCE against 'Greater Israel'.
Wouldn't you fight if a foreign enemy was invading Australia?

I feel Marles has essentially left the building and wants to head to the US to toady up to their defence industry. His electorate needs to take a good hard look at him and get rid of him. In reality he probably should have nominated for the Liberal leadership!

This isn’t about the safety of Australians, it’s a sales pitch to Newscorp and Trump, with Labor’s unwavering commitment to the US alliance grounded in an unsettling need to tie ourselves to the US military and its plans for military confrontation with China.

6 days ago 56 15 5 0

With barely a breath between Marles says Labor is committed to the US alliance and then that our alliances are based on a “shared commitment to rules, sovereignty and self respect” - ummm - Greenland, NATO, Iran, Venezuela - doesn’t he own a TV?

6 days ago 111 42 7 1

Marles still talks of “impactful projection” with his plan to project Australian military force anywhere on the planet to police global trade. This is a foolish and dangerous strategy that inevitably embeds us into global US military deployments.

Watching this Press Club address and it seems Richard Marles has been watching the world over the last 12 months and decided that China is the primary disrupter and main threat to peace. A different reality to the one everyone else is living in.

20 minutes into Defence Minister Marles’s ‘landmark’ speech on Australia’s 2026 National Defence Strategy and he has failed to mention Trump or the chaos of US threats and wars.

Rob DeSantis recently confirmed that regardless of the war crimes, the number of children killed, or the economic hardships faced by the American people, he will remain loyal to foreign allies who appear to have more influence over the direction of the country than his own constituents.

Go figure 🙄
