#INDYCAR: The date for the inaugural Arlington Grand Prix will be March 15, 2026. The street race will be held on a 14-turn, 2.73-mile street course around Arlington's sports and entertainment district around the homes of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys and MLB's Texas Rangers.

#NASCAR: Casey Mears will return to the NASCAR Cup Series for the first time since the 2019 Daytona 500. He will drive the No. 66 HitchGO Ford Mustang for Garage 66.
#NASCAR: NASCAR has amended the Open Exemption Provisional, which was used by Helio Castroneves to make his way into the Daytona 500 last month. Previously the OEP was used only if that team failed to qualify, as Castroneves did at Daytona, but now the OEP entrant will always be an additional entry.
#IMSA: Jose Maria Lopez will replace Ben Barnicoat in the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 this weekend for the 12 Hours of Sebring. Barnicoat was recently injured in a mountain biking incident.

#NASCAR: Also, Kyle Larson's No. 5 Hendrick Motorsports team will see the suspension of crew members Brandon Johnson and Blaine Anderson for the next two NASCAR Cup Series races for an unsecured wheel which came off after a pit stop.
#NASCAR: Austin Cindric has been fined $50,000 and 50 driver points for intentional contact with Ty Dillon at COTA that resulted in Dillon spinning. No suspension, as NASCAR determined that it did not warrant one due to lower speeds on a road course and that it did not result in a caution.
#NASCAR: NASCAR has countersued 23XI Racing, Front Row Motorsports, and Curtis Polk claiming they "willfully violated the antitrust laws by orchestrating anticompetitive collective conduct in connection with the terms of the 2025 Charter Agreements."
#IMSA: Brendon Hartley will join Jordan Taylor and Louis Deletraz in the No. 40 Cadillac for Wayne Taylor Racing at Sebring, replacing Alex Lynn. Lynn missed Daytona with illness and was unable to test with the team last month at Sebring. Hartley raced the No. 10 Cadillac for the team at Daytona.
#NASCAR: Katherine Legge will add the NASCAR Cup Series to her resume this weekend as Live Fast Motorsports has announced that she will drive the No. 78 DROPLiGHT Chevrolet.
#INDYCAR: Alex Palou wins the IndyCar season opener in St. Petersburg. Scott Dixon finishes second to give Chip Ganassi Racing a 1-2 finish.
#NASCAR: Christopher Bell wins the Cup Series Ambetter Health 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

#NASCAR: Additionally, Todd Gilliland's No. 34 Ford team and Cody Ware's No. 51 Ford team were penalized 10 driver and owner points for a safety violation for added ballast to their cars.

The car used a spoiler base that was not purchased from its single source supplier, which is illegal.
