On this #420day, we celebrate the 52nd anniversary of performers “Gail & Dale” singing the hit, “One Toke Over the Line,” on Lawrence Welk.

Neither had an idea the song was about pot, and Welk thought the song was a “modern spiritual.”

First one! Tea Pain clearly doesn’t live in the South.

I called my local B and N in Knoxville and requested they offer a table display of the 48 banned books. They declined. I ordered 5 books from Union Ave Books, instead.

I ordered all 5 of the elementary level books from Union Ave Books today. My granddaughter will own all 5 books soon. The banned book list just became my shopping list.
