You make a good argument.
I don't like "whaddaboutism" but I think it worth pointing out that if Biden or Obama acted like Trump, Graham (et al) would not dismiss their actions. They were certainly willing to condemn Bill Clinton's immoral activities.

Were I a relatively recent (2019) convert to Catholicism who never attended seminary or formally studied theology, I think I would not try to school the Pope about theology.
Chutzpah: A guy who converted to Catholicism seven years ago and who has never attended seminary or systematically studied theology advising the Pope about Catholic theology.

Edsel's focus on AI's effect on politics and organizing is interesting.
The larger argument is about social media's seeds coming to fruition with AI -- substantially weaker thinking and reasoning skills -- is evident to educators.
It should terrify the world.

White House: Whew! Finally something on the headlines of the failing NYT and syncopatic Washington Post other than Epstein.
Q: "Isn't that a ladies' watch?"
John: "No, it's my watch."
If you're not a clown, they're not clown shoes.
They're your shoes. Wear them proudly.
I think they look good.
I appreciate his honesty in saying he would award it to himself if he was allowed.
#measles is dangerous on its own, but an added risk is that it can reset your immune system, causing your body to "forget" what it has learned about fighting off infections for 2-3 years.

You REALLY don't want to get this disease. Worried? get the very safe MMR shot.
It's remarkable (and discouraging) that after 5 years of President Trump the media hasn't figured out how to cover the master of distraction.
* Epstein news? Invade another country
* Americans killed by his reckless policies? Go to Iowa

The navy's problems have come to a head.
Trump: Protestors in St. Paul are lunatic terrorists. Govt forced are justified in using fatal force and have legal immunity. Protestors in Tehran are patriots, the govt forced attacking them are thugs.
Khamenei would say the same thing but swap city names.
Why wouldn't native peoples in Greenland want to leave Danish control?
Surely, the US would treat them with the same care and compassion that it exhibited to all the native peoples in the USA.
And they'd be able to leave the Danish health care and pension system to get what Americans enjoy.
Given the MAGA's complaints about censorship and claims of "free-speech" advocacy, Texas A&M's actions to comply with GOP legal mandates is ironic.

PSA: if you use Venmo, you can often see with whom your friends are doing business.
Do them a favor: take a screen shot, send it to them, and ask them if they want this information made public.
Most folks aren't aware of Venmo's default settings and quickly shut it down.
Fun fact: the Church classifies them as fish, so they can be eaten during Lent.
It "exceptions for other semi-aquatic mammals like beavers and muskrats. Reptiles that live in water, like turtles and alligators, qualify as fish during Lent as well."

For anyone who wants to know what it's like to live in a rogue state, Donald Trump, Steven Miller, et al., are giving the opportunity to have the experience.
I've always wondered what it would be like -- but never wanted -- to live in a rogue state.
Donald Trump is giving me the opportunity to experience this.

Guns have long been identified as phallic symbols.
Apparently #PeteHegseth believes that to wave around such a phallic symbol, soldiers need to have an actual phallus.

In a move straight out of 1984, Trump and the GOP have tried to stuff all the records about the assault on the Capitol from govt websites and records.
We have to look elsewhere for the history of this terrifying day.

The handwriting on the wall for the 2026 midterms gets longer and more explicit daily.
If I were Mike Johnson, I'd be thinking about how to get the House to pass some legislation that helps people other than billionaires and mega-corporations.
I loved the Pinto scene ("You gotta give it to the Germans, they make great cars"), which resonates with me because I knew people who had Pintos (none of whom died in their car).
