Beyond grateful to be selected as a 2026 Sloan Research Fellow in Neuroscience! 🧠🤓
It takes a village, and this wouldn't be possible without my amazing team, mentees, mentors, collaborators and colleagues! Very excited to continue our work on the neuroscience of social learning. #SloanFellow

Democracies are vulnerable to misinformation. Prevailing interventions emphasize truth detection. L. Geay, @carocharp.bsky.social and I argue we ought to strengthen people’s ability to estimate claims plausibility and to calibrate their confidence under uncertainty.

And Saturday, Chaebin Yoo will present some computational modelling of ABCD behavioral data to characterize profiles of decision-making in early adolescence, in hope of identifying/predicting clinical symptoms (P3-A-14)
Today (Thursday), Yukta Thyagaraj @yuktat.bsky.social will present her work dissecting cognitive mechanisms of feedback-seeking decisions and how those vary along
internalizing symptoms, particularly social anxiety (P1-D-36)
The Social Learning and Decisions lab is represented at #SANS2025.
