The Hayward Rotary Club hosted GM & CEO Salvador Llamas on Monday, where he shared how AC Transit is a major economic driver in the city.

Not only do we serve the East Bay's 1.5 million residents, we're also a major employer. We employ more than 2,200 people, with 20% based in Hayward. (1/3)

Since 1999, we’ve been working to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from our transit vehicles.

Today, our fleet includes 58 zero emission buses (ZEB), powered by hydrogen fuel cell and battery electric technology.
