To any tech bros who think “women of a certain age” have no place in technology, I would like to point out that Jane Fonda could probably kick your ass in more ways than one. So sit down and be humble. #womenintech

My mom sent me this poem by Khalil Gibran today. It is titled “Fear” but it could easily be called “Imposter Syndrome,” which is of course just fear. Let’s all make 2025 the year we become the ocean. Don’t listen to the riverbanks as they try to hold you back. You are the ocean and so am I.

Sage advice from an amazing woman at the Boston Business Journal Women Who Mean Business lunch -

“Your burden is you will always be underestimated. Your blessing is you will always be underestimated. It won’t be easy, but they will learn.”

Amen to that.

It’s okay to feel like giving up in times like these. But it’s not okay to actually give up in times like these.

You absolutely should admit it - we ALL feel that way sometimes!

One of the most exciting ways that #AI can impact the legal sector is to help improve quality of life and job satisfaction for attorneys. This is a high burnout profession and my thesis is that well-designed #legaltech can play a big role in alleviating pressure points. What do you think #LawSky?

The Dark Tower: The Wind Through the Keyhole - Wikipedia

When he asked what my favorite Stephen King was, I said the Dark Tower series hands-down. He agreed and he let me know there’s are two new books in the series which I had no idea about so now I’m very excited about that.

I wouldn’t normally give money to someone in Penn Station, but he was holding a @stephenking.bsky.social book so I figured we were kindred spirits. Mr. King’s writing has gotten me through many a dark time myself.

TFW your teenager calls you and says “Mom, I don’t know what to do in this situation. I’m going to send you a photo.” This is the photo.

Huge thanks to @glambertpod.bsky.social and Marlene Gebauer for hosting @diboneyard.bsky.social and me. Am so glad I was able to rock the 80s hair band vibe while breaking down how we can use AI for Access to Justice!

Right now so many of us are bruised and battered and wanting to find comfort with our tribe is the most human thing possible. The community Bluesky is offering right now helps just a little bit.

Wow and to think they are still single!

I am following everyone back with glee and abandon. I love this vibe! But seriously the DMs are kind of funny sometimes… So many handsome middle aged widowers who love animals and the outdoors interested in knowing how I’m doing! 😂

The real battle is not between Dems and Reps, it is between people who believe in fundamental human rights & science vs people who quite simply do not. We can't stuff this moment into a partisanship box and therefor something to not talk about in certain places. This moment is way bigger than that.
