Made this quick run cycle for Junker. The one I had previously used wasn't quite right, so I'll make some derivatives from this and see how it all feels in game. Bit sick of doing loco for now so may do an idle fidget or something next 😆

Had a tinker with this walk setup. Got it blending much nicer. Also started to go down a stride warping rabbithole but that's a whole other can of worms, which I might open later. Just gonna start getting the run assets and start/stops in for now.

First implementation of my eight directional walk. Needs a bit of fine tuning as some of the blends are a little funky. A big part of game anim is getting everything in and then iterating on it, so I'll spend a bit longer before I make a jog set.

Made a backwards walk cycle for Junker, for use in a loco blend space in UE5. Slow progress due to not much free time but I'll just keep adding things bit by bit.

Actually had a free weekend (for a change) so I threw this walk cycle together, for use in my UE5 project. It's only first pass but I'll iterate on all the loco later, once I get it implemented and start fleshing things out.

Obviously very early days but realised I had an old run cycle I could use for Junker. Only 2 assets so far but am looking forward to fleshing it all out. Trying to get that stepped anim feeling good is going to be fun.

Made this first pass base idle for Junker. Gonna make some variations/fidgets and start fleshing out her idle behaviours in UE5. Then I'll do some loco. Then who knows, might go all the way down the rabbit hole with this one!

Well that's a wrap for 2024. My first year at Rockstar has seen me improve x10 as a gamedev. Looking forward to timesing that by another 10 next year.
