There’s been a hugely positive and supportive response to us getting The Week on Wednesday #podcast back on the air.

Except for that last comment which seems a little..unhinged.

The “fuel crisis” is nonsense

Oil has been up to 86% MORE expensive on at least THREE occasions in my lifetime

There is no shortage of fuel, just of scruples

The Coalition & the grievance grifters are making people scared for no good reason, just for their own politics & cash

The Age Pension is a government payment for people aged 67+, paying about $1,200 per fortnight for singles & about $1,800 per fortnight for couples, depending on other incomes

It is more generous than New Zealand, UK & not employment linked like the USA

Proud to be Australian

It's funny that this isn't reported as "racism". Because that's what it is: racism.

We need to stop thinking that all our experiences are the “average” experience

Sometimes it will be more & sometimes less

2025 saw a RECORD number of new cars sold
2026 has already surpassed 200,000 sales

Australia is thriving, while some are struggling

Which is why we need Labor’s tax reforms

No Nation grifters are unhappy with SA results!

Australia has the MOST democratic elections in the world

Peaceful, universal, preferential, independent and transparent

No gerrymandering, no “electoral colleges”, no suspensions, no voter suppression

If you don’t like democracy you should leave

I call them “No Nation” because they are trawling the world for far right support, far right narratives and far right conspiracy campaigns.

It’s a hodge podge of MAGA madness, Orbanian awfulness & Brexit bullshit that makes grievance grifters wealthy & fail sons feel justified.

Nothing Australian.

Find myself saying this every election these days, but boy, mainstream media isn't the influence it used to be, is it? News Corp (& others) spend enormous amounts of time and energy virtually campaigning for the Liberal Party & now One Nation. Hmm, pretty effective.🙄😂

“That is a long list of seats where the Liberal Party vote is in single digits.”

@caseybriggs.com highlighting the collapse of the Liberal Party in South Australia

Only 1 in 7 people voting for No Nation and the six other people are placing them lower than in their preferences than Labor, Liberal and its looking likely they won’t get many from any other party’s voters either

How much of Gina’s cash will they be allowed to burn & for how long?

Labor has been re-elected in South Australia

The Liberal Party will be the opposition & able to car pool to work in a minivan

One Nation will get between 0-1 seats yet Corey Bernardi will get more media coverage than any other SA politician because lunacy is promoted as “news”

“News” must improve

The ABC is trying to say that the people of SA voting to re-elect Labor with a bigger majority could be “bad for democracy”

The polls closed TWO HOURS ago
Zero violence
Zero state intimidation
Universal voting
Preferential voting
More candidates than ever

Democracy is fine here. The media though…?

There are only two political parties in Australia

The Labor Party & the Not Labor Party

Changing the t-shirt colour doesn’t change the fact they are still bankrolled by billionaires & foreign far right fanatics

They’ll dump No Nation quicker than an assistant who gets their coffee order wrong

Now Labor has been re-elected in South Australia it’s time for the Matildas!

No need to indulge in the fear-mongering grift of “The rise of One Nation” (who are on track to win ZERO seats in a 47 seat parliament)

1 month ago 7 0 1 0

There is no “rise of One Nation” there is just a “Splintering of the Menzies Liberals”

A party that remains unlikely to win ANY seats in a 47 seat parliament is not a political force, no matter how hard billionaires & media chicken littles might be trying to convince us otherwise

Our system works

IF One Nation wins ANY seats in South Australia it’ll be because they get Liberal voter preference flows

But they’ll still demand changes to the best system in the world just so they don’t have to appeal to a broader range of Australians and just keep being unaustralian scumbags

1 month ago 12 4 1 0

The truth in South Australia is the same truth that has been true across Australia since 1901

There are only two political parties in Australia, Labor and not Labor

Whether it’s in Blue, Green or Orange the pro-billionaire parties are just old money, tech money or fascist money

If One Nation is banning the ABC from their “HQ” in SA because they don’t like the coverage then maybe the ABC should stop giving them so much FREE coverage?

I expect commercial media to chase ratings(ad sales) but the ABC could act according to the national interest & block ‘em

One Nation is bad

The first major media outlet to take as clear a pro-labour ideological position as the pro-capitalist ideological position that the Murdoch/Stokes/Laundy media takes will have a HUGE audience

Traditional media’s decline aligns to their homogenous shift to the right just as Labor keeps on winning…

1 month ago 7 2 1 0

With Labor poised to achieve a record number of seats in South Australia the media is obsessing over…Liberal vs One Nation.

The party with the largest primary support across the country still doesn’t have a “friendly” media outlet.

It’s like the purpose of “news” media isn’t information at all…
