glad to see an update on this.. update. I think people forget that cross platform games take quite a while to ship out updates compared to PC only titles. I do wonder if they announced a lil prematurely or overestimated the patience of the fanbase who frankly have been waiting for over a year now :P

I also wonder about the corporate rot that causes people to constantly track the number of concurrent players on steam...EVEN FOR SINGLE PLAYER titles... and proclaim they are "dead". Live services I think are partly involved in this.

Okay, so multiple source mods developed a term for maps set out in these defaults - "Orange maps", only for that to spawn a whole genre of somwhat popular multiplayer levels in thier own right. The cleaness of these textures allows practicaly zero visual distraction from the combat gameplay.

I think given how much media is forcfully directed at people to consume, the idea that they assume all artistic expression is FOR them is probably part of whats to play here. I mean its just psoted there to look at for free, and folks treat it like it was prepared for them, served on a plate.
