I can't believe we've reached the last week of the regular season for the PWHL. I'm not going to see my torrent ladies until next fall 😭😭😭

I agree—I think we're in a transitional period and it's good to pressure the league to do better and support whatever players are willing to be advocates, without making yourself crazy trying to keep tabs on everyone.

like i struggle with it because they WERE my team. i was actively cheering for them in year 1 because i have a personal connection to minnesota and have traveled there. so i felt very, very hurt watching a team i supported turn into That because of curl.

without really knowing the staffer it's like idk what they even understand about the message :/ it's just very messy to me as an outsider looking in

I respect ppl trying to educate ppl about trans athletes because it's just so frustrating as I genuinely think a lot of ppl in support of bans think they're being "fair" to women (vs. the smaller contingent who are just bigots).

anyway this story made me so sad because the ppl actually hurt by the hysteria around trans athletes in current times are amateurs like this
