Racism sexism and homophobia is not an "agree to disagree" argument. Full stop.

We are falling into fascism and we need to keep speaking out.

Can hardly post anything happy with such damage being caused to the country. This was what all the republicans have wanted since Reagan times - to stop all ideas of promoting equality. I would like to think our country is way too diverse to ever allow it for long. The protest is showing that.

I'm starting to wonder if Republicans in Congress with their own majority could possibly dissolve their own Congress and we lose the checks and balances from there.

Every vote matters in every election. People who choose not to vote are the ones that give it away to the Republicans.

To add: describing alien races, describing their actions or planets' way of life - it's hard for me to remember it as I go further into the book or to keep track of it all. If that helps make sense.

#booksky I'm currently trying to read a sci fi book "Revenger" by Alastair Reynolds and so far doing okay. But it reminds me of why I rarely read sci fi -- I have a hard time following plots and "random" descriptions. Why is Sci Fi easier for others, but not for me? Perhaps a brain thing?

I have an elliptical and I love it. It's easier on your knees/joints plus your heel. I feel it has more muscle build. Highly recommend but go for whatever works and keep on moving!

You know what the irony of the SAVE act is? I believe it's mostly Republican women who take the husband's last names. So essentially they're reducing their own voter base more than Democrat.
