We did this for the supplement/expansion to The Shab Al-Hiri Roach. Half was "Darker" by @grahamwalmsley.bsky.social and half was "Overlord" by me.

Check out the games at the Immersion festival, what a tasty collection of larps! www.nordicrpg.fi/immersion/pr...
My current favorite game by @jmstar.bsky.social hits the table at Camping for Gamers. You need to get this game, friends. bullypulpitgames.com/products/zhe...
Just finished the playtest draft of a new Desperation deck whose developmental title is BIG DEAD ALIEN SPACESHIP because it is about exploring a big dead alien spaceship. I think this is one of those GURPS situations where the place-holder title just asserts itself into inevitability.
Also contrast this with the "wide con", which I have a lot more experience with - one session, four tables all running the same game in an interconnected universe. We've done this a lot with Night Witches, The Warren, and Fiasco, and it's always a good time.
In a convention setting it never appealed to me because there's so much going on and I never wanted to commit to one prolonged thing among all the quick-hit deliciousness. But if that was the format and it was intentional, it'd be super fun.
This has happened within other conventions for years and the usual format there is three four hour sessions, with a little flexibility for people not making all three.
I just know I don't have a lot of time.
Spend a lot of time at places like the Klementinum and Laurentian libraries, immerse myself in art and history, take a lot of notes, let it all percolate.
Jodi is a wonderful person, please help if you can.
It's a healthy sign when you can burn your own culture in such a sick way.
Magical Athlete is bonkers fun with six.
Paper alarmingly titled EMBODYING CYBORGS
Uh oh nobody tell @kiraserpentine.bsky.social
Attention larp sickos, the new KP book is out www.nordiclarp.org/wiki/Seasons...
Desperation, Zhenya's Wonder Tales
That's a great poster
It'd be like filming and cutting a documentary.
...and the way Ottoman politics worked, the emperor had no compelling reason to love his potential heirs, who were also his potential murderers by proxy. At one point the emperor threw Mehmed in a cistern and gave him a life-long facial scar.
This whole (somewhat accurate) setup is such a tragic train wreck, and you picking up the salient detail about the children is perfect - that's exactly right. Each of the mothers is angling to create the same relationship with their son that the current emperor's mother, Kösem, has with him.
relationship map for my harem larp, with lines radiating from the emperor based on proximity to power.
Another way of visualizing relationships around the harem; proximity to power. I should probably center Kösem rather than the emperor.
I am holding a lifelike baby by its ankle, it is a pinky fleshy baby that fell from outer space and I hate it.
....and its in the bag
Buddy, Zhenya's Wonder Tales is *right there* and in stock at Atomic Empire
(It's very fun)
The cap and badge of the Multinational Force, terra cotta brown beret and swoopy dove on an enamel badge
The cap and badge of the Multinational Force patrolling the Sinai peninsula is some 1966 Star Trek looking nonsense. Like Bill Theiss just threw something together after a script change - I'm here for it. "Radithor welcomes you, Captain Kirk. Guards, show the captain to his ... quarters."
there is no folly of the beasts of the earth which is not infinitely outdone by the madness of men
Context is everything.
Do you have 5-11 friends who want to playtest?
