Impeachment is a winning message. I definitely wouldn't discourage candidates who lean into it from doing so. It has to be part of the party's platform in the next Congress. But the overarching story I'd want to tell is "GOP = Trump, and their policies and leadership are making your life miserable."
My opinion on this is influenced by the fact that I'd like Dems to use the midterms to paint Trump as a product of the fecklessness of the GOP and its policies. (I admit that's probably naive on my part.) I also take it as a given that Dems will pursue impeachment if given the opportunity.
You're right. It's a big problem, and there's no magic solution to fix it absent an internal revolt in the GOP.
