I hate this election so much

I submit the use of "bwd" in this skeet as more evidence that I am not a morning person.
... that being said the last time I flew somewhere I got to the airport several hours in advance because the event I was at ended earlier than I anticipated and I was standing by for an earlier flight, so
Also usually when I'm cutting it close the answer to "what are you doing beforehand" is being asleep in my bwd. I am not a morning person.
I always find airport arrival time Discourse to be a bit odd because I generally plan on enough buffer to avoid risk of missing my flight but also you absolutely do not need to get to a familiar smallish airport like (for me) SJC two hours before departure.

Scene from POWER OF THE ATOM #11 where the Atom and his ex-wife's current husband fight using scissor blades.
(Yes, this issue featured an extended duel with scissor blades. Comics are good.)
In a panel from POWER OF THE ATOM #11, the Atom asks: "If I'm so smart—why am I trying to talk sense into a lawyer?"
Asking the important questions.
The Atom, chatting with the Martian Manhunter, describes the JLI as containing "some real business bozos." "Maybe that's too strong a word. Jerks?"
The Atom has some thoughts on the Justice League International.

A panel from POWER OF THE ATOM #3 in which two CIA officers call the Atom and he comes, in person, over the phone line.
You rang?
Three panels from POWER OF THE ATOM #1 depicting the destruction of New Morlaidh and the greater setting of SWORD OF THE ATOM.
The perils of a change in creative direction:
This is great. Zelazny was an early enthusiasm for me. He did get plenty of recognition during his life, but it’s appropriate for SFWA to recognise him with Octavia Butler, Tanith Lee and Frank Herbert as authors who would have been named Grand Masters if they had lived long enough. Well done SFWA.

Hmm
Particularly wild as Ditko's action sequences are extremely clear. Like you can just ignore the words during the fights and you're mostly fine.
SFBC is finishing our season on our favorite post: the Short Fiction Book Club Awards!
We read many gems this year, but we've voted on our favorites. I'm happy to present our slate of awards (with very normal award names and presenter speeches).

Two panels from SWORD OF THE ATOM SPECIAL #1 in which the Atom tests his hypothesis on steering a Doberman by pulling on its ears.
Science.

The perils of civilization:
Dear Jan and Gil, Jan and Gil went up the hill to fetch a brand-new Atom. Jan did good and understood when Gil did even better. Did I actually write this #@*!$%*&#)(IIIIIIII????????? Yours Not-Very-Poetically, The Purple Pickle Nepean, Ontario
Fan reaction:
Four panels from SWORD OF THE ATOM #1 with Jean and Paul in a car together.
In light of recent events in the Spider-books, it amuses me that Jean Loring is cheating on Ray Palmer with a guy named Paul.
Part of the front-page splash from SWORD OF THE ATOM #1, depicting a costumed adventurer riding a frog.
More superheroes should ride frogs and wield swords.
