Ignore my last post! I had to double check and almost all of these were gifts! Just three of them I bought myself.

Thanks! It honestly never gets old seeing real copies of games you worked on out in the wild, but having them together like this feels so special.

(I’m 100% replacing them with better games if and when they release though, don’t get me wrong)

Some of these games are, at least critically speaking… not great. But I think it’s important to feature them as a part of my journey to where I am right now as a professional, the lessons and experiences I learned from every game I worked on shape me as the man I am today, after all.

A clear plastic display cabinet, with little shelves inside of it. A variety of video game boxes are propped up inside of it: Marvel: Cosmic Invasion, Crystal Crisis, Cursed to Golf, Cave Story+, Binding of Isaac, Inmost, 88 Heroes, The End Is Nigh, Black Sigil: Blade of the Exiled and Super Adventure Pals.

With Marvel: Cosmic Invasion’s physical edition out I decided that it and the rest of the physical copies of games I worked on deserve a proper display cabinet. And here it is!

Comic. I’m at my desk, leaning over to the doorway, saying “Hey! Foghorn! Foghorn Leghorn! Get in here!” Foghorn Leghorn is walking past the doorway, “Boy, I tell ya, I tell ya, not so loud, boy. What, I say, I say, what d’ya want?” Next panel, I’m gesturing to my computer. “How do I find that really good manga you recommended? It’s an anime now? I keep getting Halloween costumes.” Foghorn leans over my chair, “well, boy, I say, I say, you ain’t typin the entire title.” Last panel, I turn around- “you said ‘witch hat.’ Foghorn gets in my face- “open your ears, boy!! ‘Witch Hat Atelier, I tell ya! I tell ya ‘Atelier,’ I tell ya’”

For those who aren't in the loop: our collective posting about Moon Child has reached the original devs and they are really enjoying the attention it's been getting, and Metin has been posting designs and storyboards from the original game development which has been fantastic to see.

I was against both this and Resident Evil 4 getting remakes since the originals hold up so well, but it warms my heart just how much care they were both given considering their reputations. They both have awesome renditions that I'd recommend entirely dependent on taste now and that's a big win!

Finished Silent Hill 2 (Remake) last night and it was so so good. I'm really glad they didn't fumble it. The bosses were so much better, especially Abstract Daddy's encounter.
