Started up Life is Strange: Reunion this morning. Excited to play more and hear more of the soundtrack (always love the music in this series). And GameFly has sent Pragmata out, so I should have that by week’s end 🎮😃

I just love watching Maxey and Edgecombe. I still don’t see the Sixers winning this series, but I am going to enjoy watching them for as long as this lasts and I’m super excited for the future with those two leading this team 🏀😃

Home late from work and forgot to set the game to record, but I’m glad to see things are going better so far 🏀😃

This looks pretty fun. I really like the Splatoon single-player campaigns but partly because of their unique approach to platforming. That doesn’t seem to be a big part of this. But it still looks cool and I’m sure I’ll get more of a traditional campaign in Splatoon 4. Looking forward to this 🎮😃

I love just having playoff hoops to turn on every night when I come home from work. Even if it doesn’t seem good, I can just have it on while I decompress and maybe I get a good/stupid finish like that Hawks-Knicks game.

It was a bit shameless lol. But it has been so long since Nintendo gave us a DKC, I will take it!

It is definitely a smaller game (probably like half the levels of a DKC game) and a bit on the nose with the inspiration (it even has its own version of cart and rocket barrel levels), but I feel it was executed very well.

I don’t recall thinking it was unfair. Definitely challenging but probably around the level of DKCR or TF. It has been a while so maybe time has sanded down the challenge in my mind 😂

This is a really good DKC-like that I highly recommend if you are like me and always looking to scratch the DKC itch.

I never played this one but I loved the versatility of the DS and being able to have games play in book form was really neat. I like the Ninja Gaiden game that played like that.

I’m getting Life is Strange: Reunion from GameFly next, but I’m contemplating grabbing something else this weekend to play while I wait for that to arrive. Was thinking Pragmata or Mouse: P.I. for Hire, but may hold out to rent them. Maybe something digital-only like Cairn 🎮🤔

Yeah I think there was a way to make it work (your idea being one) or at the very least more palatable because Link on a train is actually a pretty fun idea.

Ben Franklin, Butterfly and Pristine are probably my favorite off each album (they played the latter two last night), so I’d recommend giving them a shot!

I saw Snail Mail at The Fillmore in Philly last night! I had a great time. Here are some photos I took 🎶😃

Didn’t really like how the train segmented the overworld, but I thought the dungeons were really fun. Particularly the fire and sand ones from what I remember. And I loved ghost Zelda! Her interactions with Link were so funny.

After dealing with some injuries for a while now, I am back to jumping rope and it is bringing me a lot of joy. I was happy to learn I could do pretty much all the footwork I’d previously learned. Going to work on getting my endurance back up and adding some tricks and releases to my repertoire 😃

I listen to a lot of NBA podcasts talk about their postseason awards/All-NBA teams and everyone was sort of accounting for the possibility of Luka being in or out. But everyone seemed to assume Cade was definitely out (who is now eligible). Just another twist to this whole 65-game discussion.

Given the hit rate on TV show revivals I have watched so far, I go into them on the pessimistic side these days. But I am happy to say I really enjoyed the new season of Scrubs. I think they nailed the feel and tone of the original and it brought me joy watching this old favorite of mine again 🥰😃

Got a bit ugly in the third quarter, but a good win for the Sixers. I’ll be happy to see them play in the playoffs even if I don’t expect them to go any further.

I feel pretty good so far. I wanted to watch the Suns but it was really late here and I fell asleep early on. I feel like the Suns already surpassed expectations but I hope you too earn the right to get beat handily by a 1/2 seed!

Oof. 00 is worse. Better be a Hall of Famer or an end of the bench joke character. You are right about Rodman. He did make 91 work. I’m sure there are some other exceptions but it feels rare when the higher numbers work for me!

I love Edgecombe but I feel strongly that 77 is a bad basketball jersey number. Anything over 35 actually feels questionable to me. Maybe something in the fifties if you are center with a middling offensive game. And neither Luka nor Vladimir Radmanovic are an appropriate rebuttal, so please don’t.

I haven’t tried any of the new ones I unlocked yet. Looks like that would be pretty strong for flushes. I have at times shifted my regular decks that way with Tarot cards lol.

Definitely looking forward to having another story-based game to play soon (might even buy a digital game I have been waiting on while I see what GameFly sends next). Balatro will remain a fun secondary game though. Just an awesome game!
