An illustration of George, the ursine mascot of Hofmeister lager from the 1980s, considerably burlier and scruffier than he used to be, getting boisterously drunk in a pub.

A companion piece to my boozed-up Bully (out of Bullseye) pic, featuring another mascot character from the 1980s getting plastered. Hofmeister brought their old brand spokesman out of retirement this year, which possibly was a mistake. One cannot drink as George has drunk and not end up like this.

Pastblast: "Apple Dragon" was a gouache painting completed in 1997 and sold at conventions as a print, and it remains one of our more popular pieces. Marsha and BJ have some fun visiting a Renaissance Fair in costume, and BJ teases Marsha with a dragon puppet that wants Marsha's candied apple!

Something that should not be was aboard the train. Some things aren’t meant to be moved across land meant for men. The sheriff sensed a dreadful presence as he held on to the speeding train. Guarded or not, he had come prepared.
