Today’s game, a classic with some modern twists…

A bit of a throwback today... with a bit of a bop-it inspiration for mixing up the format.
Memorize and tap back increasingly wild sequences of buttons, switches, and sliders on a retro pinball machine.

I've been messing with the concept of Microgames this week... Simple premise: Atari-era gfx, all in one HTML file w/JS.
I built a claude skill for it, so I invoke /build-game, give it a few bullet points and I get a game that's 95% of the way there & finished w/in 3-5 prompts.
Here's today's:
This dark side of the moon disconnect is a perfect opportunity for the extraterrestrial’s to sneak in a little message to the #Artemis crew.
Someone is really regretting the “terminator” rule in their #artemis mission drinking game right about now…
Is the world really going to have to suffer WW3 because the USA can’t impeach a president?
Congratulations to all the artists we celebrated tonight at the Juno Awards.
Through your craft, you remind Canadians that we all belong to something bigger — a unique, ambitious, and creative nation.
I wish the Democrats would get just an ounce of message discipline.
ffs, stop saying things like “we created” When referring to Trump’s nonsense
Point the finger, lay the blame, don’t let up. It’s what the GOP does and it’s effective.
Trump created this problem, no one else. Forget the word “we”
It’s a big wooden horse that’s been hastily painted Gold isn’t it…
h/t to @adammockler.com for pointing out this gem from 2016.
“Mom! Are you done with the Internet? I need the Ethernet jack to do my homework!”
“Apparently I’m an idiot.” Woman at Pennsylvania gas station who voted for Trump rips into him, calls him “a worthless pile of sh*t”.
Oh, is it the existential dread of the world they’re about to inherit?
I’m at the “of course it did…” stage of reaction to this cursed timeline.
I don’t think we fully understand the damage the beloved Fischer-price record player did to late Gen-X / early millennial perception of vinyl records.
Murphy: I have great sympathy for our soldiers and our military leaders they are being given directions by a senile old man who is losing his mind. And so it's no surprise that this war is going horribly
“Follow up question: Will your son and daughter be signing up for this sacrifice once they are of age?”
I often talk about "decoupling survival from employment." It’s the most important economic shift of our lifetime. If we don’t do this through universal basic income and healthcare, the rise of AI won’t lead to a "golden age of abundance"—it will lead to a crisis of survival for the working class.
So the only question any credible journalist in Ontario should ask Doug Ford going forward is is “What are you hiding Doug?” - don’t cover announcements, no other questions until this is dropped completely.
Do your fucking job for once media.

We need an open source “do not hire” list for these little shits.
Make sure getting a job is excruciatingly difficult for them and immediately blacklist any company that does hire them.
Lucifer has a point
The U.S. is the only place we surveyed where more adults describe the morality of others living in the country as bad than good.
Canada is on the opposiite end of the spectrum--they overwhelmingly see their neighbors as morally good

Are we supposed to be glad they’ve replaced “vague objections” with “extremely vague justifications”?
i spent all summer organizing for dedicated transit lanes against typical toronto nimbys who claimed that "emergency vehicles would get stuck in traffic and more people would die"
anyways, here's real life:
Uh Yeti… you might want to rethink that tagline 👀
