Eerie, Indiana is the kind of tween genre storytelling we need more of! Weird and funny and never condescending.

My husband has been sick for 6 years.
We have to severely limit who we see and where we go to prevent reinfection.
He went from teaching & completing his phd to being mostly bed bound, lucky if he can handle a short walk or conversation.
It’s heartbreaking & exhausting begging people to care.
Society thinking it can simply ignore COVID into nonexistence may be the clearest example of mass delusion I’ve witnessed in my lifetime.
Once again, mask up in public spaces, stay current with boosters, and avoid events that are likely to result in exposure.
“…as the virus continues to circulate, more people are being forced to reckon with a life-altering yet often invisible disability whose relative newness offers few answers for the future and few avenues for support.”

Rakhee Morzaria’s one of Toronto’s most compelling and complex creatives. Her new solo show is hilarious + tender + cathartic and you only have one more chance to see it if you can snag a ticket for tonight.
The Inequality in Hollywood is SHAMEFUL.
88% of Canadians want a wealth tax. Funny how that public concern never gets a response.
Honestly that’s high praise, she’s one of the only Buffy characters that I’d consider the comparison a compliment. Hot, a little mean, recognizes how dumb humans are, vengeful against evil dudes, best duet in the musical episode 🙏
Everyone involved in the publication and promotion of this book should be embarrassed. It's not a "harsh truth" that COVID mitigation was a mistake, it's ghoulish and false.
are we still on about em dashes and ai. imo human writers should just use the em dashes even harder. we should be out here pummeling out those em dashes like we're emily dickinson
My love for em dashes is as old as the hills and as mighty as my inability to make a transition between thoughts literally any other way and I will be damned if I let the clankers take that from me
Whaaaaaa… how have I never heard of these? Thank you for your service 🙏
My graveyard of abandoned hyperfixation supplies that I know I’ll never touch again but o can’t get myself to get rid of…
most people really are terrible at assessing risk
