Are we the best team in the world when nothing is on the line? ##arsecastextra @gunnerblog.bsky.social

Problem is I dont think Arsenal win all their games either. I can see us dropping points in 2 more games atleast. To me, it seems pretty done, but im fairly pessimistic so that might be it

Feel like we've done this for 3 seasons. Have a lead, get it cut down. Say its not over and then lose again, then it actually is over and we start winning again.

Genuinely, will any of this matter if we end up with nothing end of the season?

Mikel not bringing on Gyokeres in this match says it all really.

It doesnt matter what the circumstances were. They will need a new voice imo if we dont get it done.

Yeah something is off. The vibes arent right. Like the way Declan Rice was gazing into the ether as if we just got knocked out. Man knows that Sunday is a blood bath if we produce that putrid nonsense

He did not look happy to me at the end of the match. I think the performance bothered him. maybe im projecting, but him standing and looking on quite sternly at the end of a match that means he's qualified for the semi of the CL, did not reflect someone who was happy. If its abt performance; Agreed

Had the other match on the main screen tbh. Only taking glances at our match. Watching Arsenal is such a chore right now.

We are getting violated on Dunday if we pull up like this. Looks like another trophy free season might be our destiny with the way this team is playing. We even got the "easier" draw in Atleti. I think they can also take this version of Arsenal. Declan Rice looked forlorn at the end. Bleak

God that was miserable. The players also look like they are miserable. This should be a more electric and exciting moment. But the doom has a hold on everyone in the club. We are through but honestly if this is how we end the season, we are absolutely ending it without honors. IT IS MISERABLE.

Half the squad is relegation level? Thats insanity. If thats the case we should give Arteta a raise and a 20 yr contract for making relegation level players challenge for top honors. Im of the opinion that he should go should we fail cause I think we'll need a different voice. Your take is madness

If we dont win he has to go. And its not cause I think he's bad or there is some inherent flaw to him that means we cant win it. I just think that after missing out 4 times the squad would need a different voice, methods to go on. Refreshing things in the dressing room is vital.

All the best bro. Hopefully you can pick up a mic soon enough.

How?Arsenal winning the league would end the bottles narrative. The team is playing like they want it etched in stone.

You know thats not how this works for most fans. Liverpool won the league last season and their fans are utterly angry that they'll likely only just make the CL places. Yet they won it last season. Expectations vary based on where you were in the last few seasons. I think the headloss is warranted

Add all the haters seemingly being proven right as well.

4yrs of 2nd place potentially, unconvincing play style all season long, 2 back to back losses in the domestic cups. City looking ominous while we look scared shirtless. All this after unprecedented investment in the squad. Thats where the venom is coming from

You really dont get the headless? We are struggling against everyone, we lost at home, we cant seem to create anything going forward and we have to go to Man City. I think people are just reading what the signa are saying. We'll have the season our football deserves.

Can't even enjoy Tottenhams potential relegation cause we are about to do an all time bottle job

Problem is, we'll drop a lot more points than they do as we stumble towards the end. We rarely finish well anyways. With CL focus as well, I fully understand the doom and gloomy. We look finished, they look ready for a run in

The tame surrender does not inspire confidence. That team of 22/23 didnt have experience and lost crucial players, they still played better than these. We've only played well for about 10 10-12 games total? Rest have been an absolute chore to get through

Typical

Both look dead on their feet. Arteta should try to use one at a time. Not sure why he doesnt use Norgaard with one of them.

Its not really form, we live on the edge most of the time. Once we lack the physical superiority towards the end of the season, we fall apart. Its no coincidence it happens every season. We've only ever free flowed and looked fluid in fits and starts.

This all feel like de ja vu lmao. Ive lived all of this before??!Coming back from an international break in April and then completely unraveling? Arsenal dna

Do PSG forwards ever score a normal goal? Feel like they only do bangers

Im curious..if we dont win the league this season, do folks think its time to part ways with Mikel? Just to get a fresh voice and new messages in that dressing room. I think we'll won it, but if we dont....for he gotta go.
