I definitely agree. I speak a couple of languages, and 'handle' makes absolutely no sense to 'normal' people, especially if English is not their native language.

I don’t think that attie is bad for users. The problem is that it is built by a small group of well paid engineers and presented to a larger group of idealist enthusiasts who are mostly broke. The centralization of capital is the problem to still be solved and a protocol alone won’t fix that
