The Water Burial Pillow Urn for Gareth's ashes arrived today. It is biodegradable and will, after floating briefly on the water, sink down and break up within a few hours. A very dignified way of letting him go.

Tarja and I will do another Cancer Research Big Hike this year, we are currently deciding which route to walk and what length - probably this time the half marathon.

Thinking of all my loved ones I lost to cancer - Gareth, my grandma, great-grandma, and uncle. Another family member is currently fighting cancer. It's such a bastard illness. Kudos to all the scientists researching and developing new treatments.
