Hey! I'm running Race For Life Bedford in July to raise money for @cancerresearchuk.org. Anyone want to sponsor me? I'd really appreciate anything anyone can give.

This is what I got at MPF. Thought I was over the worst of it but today the snot has returned with a vengeance. Hope it's not too bad for you.
This is Apartheid.
It's morally disgusting - and comes at the same time as Israel is committing an ongoing genocide.
To see the Labour Government defend Israel repeatedly will horrify the British public - it cannot go on like this.
Our remaining vinyl stock is on sale, as we’ve gotta fund getting new tees and other costly band endeavours. Grab one at Bandcamp or just send me a message saying “alright matey, I may as well grab one of these”. Cheers. Down to the last few splatter ones.
A sticker from ohmygollyembroidery on Etsy that says Trans Lives Are More Important Than Harry Potter.
I saw all the Slam Dunk side shows and noticed its mostly London gigs. I said to a friend that the North are going to be (rightly) furious!
So, politics isn’t for you? Maybe it should be.
Fascism doesn’t arrive overnight. It creeps in through apathy, silence, and the idea that “this stuff doesn’t affect me.” Graphic novels have always been a frontline medium; cheap, urgent, emotional, and impossible to ignore.
Beginning the big reorganisation of our record collection and having a lovely time.
Can't think why I've been advertised autism quizzes so much over the past few days.
I can't wait until I have room to reorganise the graphic novels...
Oh, I get it.
I joined Letterboxd, going to try and watch 50 films this year. Follow me if you like.

I’m so tired, folks. As I’m sure most of us here are…

Picked up the first three issues of Guns Of Brixton by @seangoldingwrites.bsky.social & @renzopodesta.bsky.social at @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social Described to me as an all female punk band surviving in a zombie apocalypse. I loved it, very excited for the fourth and fifth issues to come out.
47 people on the promised me they would read a top 25 favourite albums of 2025 column if I wrote one. I hope they weren't fibbing.

I started writing. So far I've written a whole page without mentioning a single band but have made up a person named Belinda who works in the post office. Classic Colin waffling nonsense.
Do people still actually read end of year lists?
Our new single, 'I Don't Know You But I Love You', is out today!
Produced, mixed and mastered by Oz Craggs at Hidden Track Studios
Filmed and edited by Ell Bobin Videography

Manchester Punk Festival puts together the best line ups every year but next year's line up is really special. SLOW GHERKIN!!!
It’s been a while since I’ve listened to an album on its release day on repeat. Still Here by @brutalligators.bsky.social is very good! shop.fikarecordings.com/album/still-...
It's been a while since I've gotten really excited about a brand new band but this has me super excited. Almost enough to review it. I'm done doing that but I do recommend checking this out.

Thankful we booked a hotel across the road from the train station.
This weekend @emmaprew.bsky.social and I popped up to Yorkshire for @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social and also popped into @okcomics.bsky.social. Getting all these home on the train tomorrow could be tricky.
Best Of The Worst is definitely up there for me as well. I've been a bit behind this year as well. I've spent November speed running 2025s releases.
That Brunt Of It album is the best ska release this year in my opinion.
This weekend @emmaprew.bsky.social and I are off to @thoughtbubbleuk.bsky.social for the weekend. It's our first time, any hints and tips for us?
Nice of @filthymilitia.bsky.social to release this on my birthday week.
I relate so much.
This is looking so good already. All these great bands and a massive pals fest. Always the best weekend of the year.
Since last October when I started my rank every album ever project I've listened to 485 different albums. Mostly I've confirmed that once I create a spreadsheet for something I commit.
Something interesting I've noticed since starting this rank all the albums ever project is just how much more frequently bands put out albums in the 90s compared to today. I wonder why that could be? Less money in putting out music? The cost of actually making an album? Quality over quantity?
