Dry but a cool breeze out here today. I’ve been painting a couple of small out buildings. First one is done, quick cheese and tomato sandwich and I’ll start the next one. #Working outside is such a pleasure. I think it’s because you can instantly see the difference your efforts have made.

Finished my volunteer shift and popped into the charity shop on the way home. Picked up a CD #DavidGilmour #LiveinGdansk and a book #BrianMoore #BewareoftheDog Loved him playing for the Lions, hated him playing for England. Always enjoyed him and Eddies commentary too.

The stories were great. Started my enjoyment of horror stories and films.

Aye you’re right. I loved those old horror books as a kid.

Just back from the local food festival. I had a delicious Persian chicken with pomegranate and walnut for lunch. Mrs EJ had falafels. Very tasty.

Had a very busy few days and got home at about 7pm today. I had a bit of tea and fancied going for a #walk to get some air and clear my head. It was just getting #dark.

I’m #home after #work. Today, I’ve been drenched by the rain, dried off by the sun, drenched again and dried off walking home. April showers. At least it isn’t cold👍

Quick 3 hour #volunteer shift this morning. The old boys at the allotment wanted some sleepers moved into an area where they can #build some raised beds. No rush, they said, for us. You shift yourself though! Good lads they are.

It’s a brilliant blues classic. If it wasn’t for bad luck….

Behind blue eyes - the who

It’ll be the first time for me to see him. Thanks for the tip about the ear plugs. The Globe in Cardiff is quite a small venue and always seems loud but not Motörhead or Ramones loud.

I’ve got tickets to see him in Cardiff at the end of May. Great player.

Just back from my #walk. I just got back to the house before the #rain that was coming over. It’s hammering down now.

I enjoyed those #records more than usual. Perhaps after watching the documentary last night and seeing where they were coming from helped. Very good I thought today #McCartney #Ram

I watched that #ManontheRun documentary last night. I enjoyed it so thought I’d give these a listen today. I don’t play them often so it will be fun. #McCartney #Ram

Lovely there. I haven’t walked there for a few years. I’ll put that right this year.

It still looked like that around here until the 70s.
