A bit of a disappointing showing for the #NYR prospects yesterday but I’m glad to see Othmann looking more confident than ever. That steam roll out of the defensive zone is exactly the energy he needs to bring.

Yeah supposedly they’re going to be streamed on PhiladelphiaFlyers.com with some biased commentary of course LOL

I think all our analysis of his contract being as bad as it is will shift. Don’t get me wrong, I expect he’ll be greatly exposed and will need sheltered minutes but a $4M contract is comparable to $2.5M contract from a few years ago with the projected cap raising. Here’s to optimism am I right? lol

Yeah I understand this. Their defense corps looks pretty rough after the tentative first pairing of Fox and Gavrikov. I do think it’s likely that top pair will play 25 mins a night or maybe they’ll be split up to spread the defensive prowess. Also who knows what a healthy Schneider can bring!
