Nice list Ricky, should all be great. It's a quiet enough year so far for me, I've got the Miki Berenyi Trio, Super Furry Animals, Deftones, Michael Shannon & Jason Narducy, and Chapterhouse. Also taking my daughter to CMAT. James and Gwenno are both doing local gigs, might try and get to both too

It's a really good album isn't it, delighted you enjoyed it. It's a real anomaly in their catalogue, they are normally a black metal band, with screamed vocals and blastbeats, this was a huge curveball. Always had hints of Shoegaze and post rock, with Infinite Granite they went full shoegaze

Brilliant Alan, a really excellent album.

A great band Ricky, vocals are a bit of an acquired taste maybe but they clicked with me and I absolutely love them now. They are maybe a bit like an American version of The Fall. Some great lyrics too. I'd probably start with Relatives in Descent but they are all good

Believe it or not despite reading some of Tracy Thorn's books, I've never actually listened to EBTG! Another to add to the list.

One of those albums that I always assume I've overplayed, but when I listen to it I'm always annoyed with myself that I don't listen to it more often! Phenomenal
