I have a whole collection of Loop earplugs now to help combat that. I wore them constantly them last time my nephews and nieces came to visit and it made a huge difference in the amount of time I was able to spend with them.
It’s amazing to learn how many things are the result of ADHD. Like right now while I’m dogsitting, I’m dealing with the overwhelm of being touched out because they like to snuggle EVERY MINUTE OF THEIR LIVES. Which, I’m sure sounds cute, but it’s breaking my brain.
