This is not ‘progress’ in the sense that scheduled tasks aren’t a new concept. The interesting part is that it’s a small step towards more independent asynchronous actions performed on the user’s behalf. aka ‘agentic’. The example is not great, it looks like all it can do is just set reminders

A delightfully fresh take on email + calendar, from 37signals Gmail, Outlook, and Apple got complacent and took their eye off the ball. Then along came HEY.

hey.com continues to deliver for me.

I agree. I’m one of the apparent few that actually likes an algorithmic feed. Ideally one that bends toward my interests and not purely focused on ads, engagement, rage etc.

Out of curiosity have you compared this to other models (e.g., gpt-4o, o1-preview, Gemini)?

Jeez Casey, so unethical for someone like you. Don’t you know the first rule? Do no harm.

Now let’s do the best commercial website. One that must balance usability/utility with some commercial model (typically ads). I find that to be challenging to answer - many sites are infested with ads or news letter popups or over-engineered.

At the centre of the image is a nebula on the black background of space. The nebula is composed of clumpy, red, filamentary clouds. At the centre-right of the red clouds is a large cavernous bubble, and at the centre of the bubble there is an opaque blue glow with speckles of stars. At the edges of the bubble, the dust is white. There are several other smaller cavernous bubbles at the top of the nebula. There are also some smaller, red stars and a few disc-shaped galaxies scattered about the image.

Indeed. What do you think of his podcast? He seemingly carefully breaks down studies on nutrition, health, and neuroscience topics for the several I’ve heard. He also brings on quite a few serious researchers. Do you find the podcast to be a helpful resource for health-science information?
